The Personalization team seeks to understand the world of music, podcasts, and audiobooks better than anyone else so that they can make great recommendations to every individual person and keep the world listening. The Home Podcasts Squad is looking for an experienced Engineer II Backend Engineer to help drive podcast recommendations on the Home Page and other key Spotify distribution surfaces.

The Personalization team aims to make deciding what to play next on Spotify easier and more enjoyable for every listener. As a Backend Engineer, you'll build the fundamental platform to ingest, model, materialize high-scale, and serve at scale, event-driven user behavior data so Spotify can make personalized recommendations.
